When the RR has cropped up in discussion at committee meetings etc, various people have said "wouldn't it be nice if we could make a bit of a social of it - how about a picnic afterwards?"

What a fine idea.

Anyone up for stirring some life into it by suggesting how it could work, taking a bit of a lead, telling people what to bring etc? I'm kind of at the limits of available time already....

Given the weather, why not kerep life simple and name a day and a pub?

Thinking along the same lines as Arthur, if you are thinking of something straight after the event, Phil, why not Sheriff Huttons other pub - I think its the Castle Inn which is down the side road before the mini roundabout. Plenty of bench's & grass outside so good for families and the foods great - had a couple of great steaks there when we had time and money for such luxury - massive portions! I think its Sam Smiths for fluid replacement, but you can't have everything.

Pub Sunday - sounds like a plan!
