Just checking that there is a ride this evening. Missed the last few weeks so was hoping to get out if there is one. Is it at Castle Howard?

Been away myself but it looks a bit wet out there.
Let's do Castle Howard for 7pm and do a ride to the East where it's drier.
I'll definitely be there.

Good to see so many braving the conditions last night and the girls outnumbering to boys...I think that's a first.
However, conditions at Castle Howard are not good at the moment. We picked a route to avoid the worst of the 'clag' but the combination of wet and warm conditions have turned it into an overgrown jungle of nettles, brambles and thistles. Some tracks are now literaly impassable now as the undergrowth is about 6 ft in places. We found out the painful way last night how fresh the nettles and sharp the brambles are. My legs felt like pin cushions all night!
So we're off to Dalby next week..watch this space for details.

Good to get out last night but I barely slept last night for all those nettle stings, feel like a zombie this morning
