It's that time of year again - time to put the annual road race in your diary and decide how you'd like to be involved!

Clifton's annual event has a pretty unique slot in the race calendar - it's a two-stage event with a morning prologue followed by an afternoon road race, and the race takes place over the Bulmer/Terrington circuit and is *hard*. We've all ridden round it; some of us have timetrialled round it, but racing on it is serious suffering indeed. The event is supported with prizes from Cycle Heaven and should get plenty of local publicity.

Fancy being part of it? The club needs all sorts of help on the day, including:-
-The usual squad at the start and finish of the prologue TT
-Marshals for the road race
-Helpers at race HQ to make sure everything from signing-on to prizegiving goes smoothly
-Drivers (with cars!) for the race vehicles - you get to wear a flashing light and look important; expenses covered.

If you can help, please post on here (and email membership@ to ensure I've got your email address). It's a good cycling-fuelled day out, and there's talk of finishing it off with a picnic - more info to follow!
