A few people have asked about club kit at Cycle Heaven as their stocks out on the hangers were low. They've now rummaged in the basement and should have all sizes in summer stuff out on display now. Get it quick while there's still some summer left!

Phil/Andy,
Is it worth posting here or on the main web site what the prices should be for members at CH? On the web page it states some prices but its not clear whether these are direct from Portugal or CH(member or non member). There has in the past been some confusion over prices in the shop.

Prices to members should be the price on the tag minus 10% on production of membership card. Next time I'm in there I'll note them down and put a full listing on here.

I have sent an updated price list along with some other stuff to Arthur so the clothing page can be updated.
Short sleeve jersey and bibshorts are 34.99 each minus 10% when showing a valid membership card.
Long sleeve jerseys are £44.99 and bibtights £49.99
Hope this helps

As Dr Dave says Im trying to find out whats happening with the caps

I called in today and asked about the caps. Seems there was a breakdown of communication between the manufacturer and CH; CH were expecting some samples to be sent and the manufacturer forgot to send them. These should arrive soon and Piers will then chase them up for a delivery date. Apologies all round for the delay - news will be posted here.
While there I asked for clarification on their policy re BikeFit. Andy said that they'd charge £12.50 to cover the time involved, but would knock that off the price of any bike subsequently bought. Will - since they didn't measure you before you bought, they'll do it for free now. Just ask Piers.

... or you could go to Evans where they'll do it for free with no obligation.

Thanks for speaking to CH Phil.
Presumably then Piers has now been trained on their bike fit system? And presumably if Will turns up with shorts and cycling shoes & also takes his bike in, they will make any necessary adjustments and swap any stems etc that need to be changed and give him a print out of the correct position to keep like what they should have done the first time?
£12.50 actually doesn't sound bad which makes me wonder how in depth it is?

I'm assuming all of the above, Paul - as I understand it that's how the software works. And I'd expect them to swap the stem if that's what's indicated. Andy said the nominal charge is partly to discourage using them as a free fitting service and then heading off to the internet to buy a bike and partly to cover the half-hour-or-so's time involved.

Caps are now in stock at Cycle Heaven, if you asked for one then please head down there and purchase it.
