Anyone entered - or know if it's full?

I'm tempted as it's out my way, though I thought I see if many Cliftonites were interested. That said there's only 23 entrants at the moment and £20 seems a bit steep to ride roads I know very well anyway.

Thought I'd give it a crack and hopefully have at least one "challenging" ride under my belt this year that went "not too badly". It's this or nothing now unless I can persuade Mrs Mal I'm safe to be let loose on the Tan Hill Special - an unlikely prospect at the moment!

My thoughts tend to the same conclusion as Steve, however,it's local and
it would be a good ride.Do we know if there are any of the Saturday group who would like to give it a try?

I'm certainly planning on cycling that day and if a group of Cliftonites are doing this then I'll sign up, otherwise it'll be Howard and the usual Saturday gang for me.

I've only ever done 2 proper Sportifs so I'm no expert but I thought that one of the definng features of a Sportif were cut-off times - gold, silver, bronze etc to differentiate the event from a glorified club run. There's no mention of these in the descriptions I can find, on the other hand there's a medal, feed stations and a T-shirt so you do get summat for your money!

Would you mention ride on Saturday and see if there is any more interest out there.I think it would make a good follow on from the 3 Bridges Audax for those who are building up their longer rides. Also,it could be ridden very hard
if riders want a faster pace than normal for a sportif
