I'm posting this note to ascertain the level of interest in practical specific evening workshop sessions in the centre of York with professional cycle mechanics from our sponsor.
Judging by the recent lively E-exchange on the subject of wobbly chainrings this proposal could be well received.

The sessions (1 1/2 hoursduration) would cover a range of specific practical hands-on topics in a workshop environment, such as:

- Bike spec, set-up, size, posture
- Gears, freewheels, brakes, cables
- Bearings, headset, pedals
- Other topics

There would be a small charge, perhaps £2 dependant on numbers, to renumerate the lecturer/demonstrator.

If you think this is for you please hit the REPLY key now, and I'll be able to take things forward.

Oh yea I would find this very good :D, maybe I can get taught how to true my wheels so I dont need to pay out 7 quid each time.

Depends what time it was, something extra to do.

Sounds like a good one for those dark cold wet winter evenings

I would be interested and maybe a couple of my mates.

If its arranged for days/nights when the summer races eg TLI & Spocco are not taking place it could be better attended.
