Hi Guys

The club run this Sunday will go out round Storriths/Bolton Abbey.

I am planning a longer ride for the Bank holiday weekend.
Leaving the square at 8-30, heading over to Osmotherly and following the Hilly Imperial route over to Rosedale.
The pace will be steadier than Howard's Saturday group and it should give people a good warm up for the White Rose and Grimpeur.
Could you let me know if you plan to come.

I am planning rides for the next 3 months. Any suggestions?
Does anyone wish to lead a ride? Could you let me have destination and dates.
Mark has voluntered to lead a group round the 180k route on the grimpeur.

hiya,
I've been cycling through the winter but would love to join you for this ride this weekend if thats ok? I have never ridden in a group before, but my fitness should be good.
Cheers,
Rob

Rob

It will be good to see you tomorrow.
We meet up at exhibition square - we'll be the small group of people huddling over by the benches.

I might bump into at Bolton Abbey because I'm doing the Spring Into the Dales Audax on Sunday and it goes through there.

I may be able to do the ride on the bank holiday weekend, I could do to do some long steady rides, though you'd have to go steady on the hills Helen. Are you intending to do the chimney - if so I think I'd be walking that.

I am planning on including it as an option.
We can split on the Castleton road with those who want to try it doing a Rosedale loop and those who are more sensible heading straight on for Hutton Le Hole.

Are you planning on coming on any of the Sunday Rides ?
I know some people have been wary because of all sorts of issues.I have said to people please turn up at the square and we can go from there. We can do rides which have a hilly loop and people can miss that section out.People can ride some of the way before splitting if short of time (something I will be doing as I can't be out all day every Sunday) or if they feel the pace is to high for what they want.
We don't leave people behind.Already this year we have helped 2 new riders do their first long rides and Nick and Nigel paced me on my first post infection ride when I still had difficulties breathing if I tried to put any sort of effort in.

It would be great to get a few more people turning up regularly.
