All circuits have now been approved by the appropriate local officers, so we're just waiting for the Chief Constable's formal nod. Then we'll get 'em on the BC calendar.

Great news Phil - good work.
Re: Escrick circuit, this place is on the course, not far from the start, has a fair sized car park and is ours for 10quid an hour

By contrast, the Drover's Arms in Skipwith seems to have gone awfully quiet...
I'll get in touch with the keyholder if nobody objects.

We now have the final signing-off from the Chief Constable so it's all systems go. Can we have a quick chat between the various organisers sometime just to make sure everyone knows how to get 'em on the calendar and how to work the online entry system?

That's great Phil....What would be the best way of doing this...Meeting at the pub?

Assuming Rich H is dealing with all of the traffic management stuff and providing all signage (we can check this) then all we need to do is:-
-Agree on any final details regarding entry - first come first served or otherwise, entry fee etc
-Bung them all onto the BC website and link the payments to club bank accounts
-Contact first aid providers and set up cover for the events (I've got contact details from previous events)
...and that's pretty much it for now. We could meet at the pub if Fraz/Matt are also available and do the whole business via laptop or I'm happy to have a meeting at my place and get it all dealt with on the computer here. As long as each organiser has their BC membership details, we're in business!

Phil,
Could you suggest a couple of possible dates? Sam (Cycleworks) and Mat (Malton Wheelers) have been in touch via email. Have asked them to keep an eye on this discussion board

Im dropping off the bike box I borrowed from my return trip from Majorca - which was fantastic.

I can be around on Friday afternoon - if Matt could grab either Sam or Fraz for a couple of hours and call round to mine we could get it all dealt with. Cam and I could do the Clifton ones if he's around then or alternatively I'm around tomorrow/Wed evenings (and much of the week daytimes too). Can email/PM directions - it's about 5mins from Cycleworks by car or bike.
Everyone will need to bring a credit card to pay the registration fee (from memory £32 per event) and then claim it back from their club, plus BC membership number/login details.
I'll provide tea and cake!

Yes it wasn't bad, some dodgy lot from Malton and Scarborough though!

Should be able to get to Phil's for 3.00pm on Friday if that suits everyone?

I'm almost en route back to the station if you end up walking it - about fifteen minutes from Cycleworks. Will try to chase up Sam/Fraz.

Guys, if you are hoping to register the events online you will need;
As already stated your BC login usually your bc number & password, if you don't have password then you can reset via the signon
To be registered as an organiser (this is done automatically if you have organised any BC event before)
A bank account linked to your membership login-normally takes 2 days once you submit your request to BC
Then your ready to register
Any questions drop me a line when your signed into your account, Im about all week except Friday.

I have sent an E-mail to BC requesting to become an event organiser.
I haven't organised a BC event before.
