training ride

Post by timj »

The steady group did everything on the tin.The ride is not spectacular but itdoes a job and i think the riding is improving every week.Av speed needs to be forgotten really and av hr as long as the effort you are putting in is the same all the time so there is no surging or slowing it makes everyone more confident about being tight behind the wheel and making everything roll through.I dont know what others think but these kind of training will only stand us in good stead for later when the sit hits the fan with cam et al.I know the temptation is always there to ramp it up and i am no expert but these rides will get faster laterwhen you are breathing out of everywhere round Bishopwood @23mph in April.
cheers
