Well done and congratulations to Phil and the team, great day out for me some great racing and a new experience in the great sport that is bike riding. A big well done to the *unt, sorry stunt driver in the black car who gave me a close up of his very inadequate car driving skills. Flashing and cursing as he approached, stopped reversed for 200 yards behind the rear group spun around, over took me and swerved across and stopped in front of me. I simply ignored him and drove around him, he came past again cursing and swearing went ahead spun around in the middle of the road and then drove straight at me on my side of the road. At the last second he stopped astride the middle of the road but left me a gap of 2-3 foot, its not my car its the companies and ive been up many verges rallying so again simply drove round him and saluted his fine driving, hope he impressed his female passenger, just made me laugh. Well done Clifton Club a great day out for a new member.

Clifton RR day on Sunday for me as well. Enjoyed marshaling the vets race in the morning, playing with a stop-go board, then raced the RR in the afternoon. Was happy to stay in the bunch with 50 miles at 26.2mph average, and was a good learning experience for me - I know I need to be more confident both to ride at the front of the bunch and also in my ability to give the sprint a go. Huge well done and thanks to Phil for a really well run event and also to the catering team that laid on a fantastic spread!
