After a nightmare journey, it was good to see a big crowd again last night. Also the widest range of abilities I've seen for a while so the mixed groups seems to have attracted some newbies.
For us the York Ring Rd was like a Car Park then the A64 was shut because of an accident when we finally got on it. I don't know how we managed to get there only 15 mins late but we weren't the last.
I can't believe how dark it's getting and it's only the beginning of Aug. We were coming through the last bit of the forest at 9.00 and we could hardly see a thing. I think the forest rides have only a few weeks left then we'll have to stay out in the open. Or get the lights out!
I think Rich is doing a ride next Wed as I'm not available so watch this space.
