Andy

Haven't replied so far as Nick is away that day and I hoped you would have plenty of helpers.
I am able to help but only for a limited time. I can get over for 12 and will need to leave by 3:15pm.

Just a quick posting to say well done Andy for organising everything and putting in lots of time behind the scenes. And many thanks to all who turned up to marshal or otherwise help on the day - the event couldn't have happened without you all.

As Tom's reported elsewhere the weather stayed dry (if a bit cool and windy) and both the prologue and the road race went without incident. As always, one or two riders signed on and then asked "so this circuit, is it a bit hilly, then?". We also had one rider who got two of his clubmates on the phone to him, saying they'd fallen asleep on the journey over and the mate who was driving had - wrongly - followed his satnav and they were heading south just past Sherwood Forest...

A good day out :D
