Dave C had a puncture - hence his longer time for the first stint. He also supported Ian when Ian had cramp. Had neither of these things happened Dave and Ian would have been round quicker than I was and probably been pushing for Gold times.

Ah I see, that would explain the average then.
Next year I want to do this and I hope I might be fit enough to come first..... Well I can always cross my fingers cant I?

Will, if you notice, my stats were with auto pause on so was my riding average, not including stopped time. Howards was overall average, including stops. My overall average is 14.26 mph.

Wow that's quite fast then, doubt I'd be able to keep that speed if it's including stops and everything in the average!
