Club Run - Sunday 22nd March

Post by Helen »

Rob will be leading the club run this week.

A reminder that next week's club run is the first of the club challenge rides.
It is the 100km Fountains Audax starting from Wiggington and a great way to get your first point. Bernard will be leading the club ride round and no one will be left behind.
You can enter on the day and usually a group rides out from the square to the start.

OK, clubrun tomorrow planned to split in two once we're in the Vale of Pickering. Sensible route to Thornton-le-Dale - 75miles. Longer alternative to Scarboro via Troutsdale and back via Flixton Wold, about 100miles.
Hope to see you in the Square at 0900.

I am assuming as the event starts at 10am anyone meeting at the square to ride out will be there at 9am like any other Sunday club run. Could anybody please confirm.

Thanks

I am sure Gerry will make people welcome if arrive in plenty of time at Wigginton.

There are normally a lot of entries on the line and bit of a scrum close to start time.

On this note may be idea to either pre-enter or print off and take along form with correct change on day.

You will need auk / ctc / bcf membership number or else pay additional (small) amount for day insurance.

Sorry, I should have replied earlier.

I can confirm this Sunday's Audax starts at 10am from Wigginton, so I will commit to meeting you in the Square at 9am, we can ride up Haxby Road (Cath - we can meet you on the way at your own personal roundabout if you like, about 09-10am) and then up to Wigginton School.

Look forward to it! See you then

Thanks for that Claire

Wasnt that bothered if nobody was meeting at the square I would have just made my own way there, I think I know where it is, I must have ridden nearby quite alot by now. However I should be there for about 9ish.

Thanks
