Hello Cliftonites and would-be Cliftonites,
Alistair is happy to run a repeat of this acclaimed hands-on 5 x evening course, the current course (session 4 is on Tuesday March 3)has 10 people taking part.
Session 1: General set-up, lubrications, wheel removal, puncture repair
Session 2: Brakes: the full Monty
Session 3: Gears: ditto
Session 4: Pedals, bottom bracket, steerer, odds and sods
Session 5: Supervised 'optimise tuning of your own bike' session.
As before sessions will run from 6.30 till 8 on Tuesday eves in the workshop at Cycle Heaven, Bisphopthorpe Road, just past Skeldergate. Costs (to cover the tutor's fee) will be £2.50 for each session payable in advance at the start of the course.
Currently 5 people have expressed firm interest, a further 5 will be needed for the course to be run. Tentative dates are consecutive Tuesdays commencing March 24th. till April 21st.
