Wednesday Evening Ride (7/1/09)

Post by A Atkin »

Sorry chaps, can't make the next two Wednesdays, could someone put their hand up.

Guess starting again at the Stockton Lane starting point makes sense.

Cheers,

A

If anyone is planning on doing this I may come along as I need to test my new torch out.

Change of plan, I will be around on Wednesday, see you at 1830 at the mini roundabout at the (town) end of Stockton Lane.

I will have to miss tonight as I am still suffering from a cold.

Hope to be ok for the following Wednesday.

How far do you guys go on a Wed night? Do you do the same route most Wed nights? If so, where do you go?

There are three routes, one leaving from the end of Stockton Lane, one from Nestle and one from Cycle Heaven at 1830. Not sure on exact millage, but I get back home to Copmanthorpe at about 2010-ish. Pace is around 17-18 mph. See discussion board for week-to-week details. Towards the end of last year we mannaged to get ten riders out, hopefully get similar numbers again when it stops being so icy!

Next week is the Cycle Heaven ride (to Bishopthorpe, Acaster Selby via air field, Colton, Copmanthorpe and B'thorpe), weather permiting. I can't make it next week, I have an appointment with too much beer in a pub (Mrs A finishes PhD), so could someone who knows the route stick their hand up?

Cheers,

Anthony
