If I had thought Cooke stood a chance I'd have voted for her but as Hoy was always going to be favourite amongst the cyclists he got my vote. I hope he remembers to thank me ;)

Remembering the Olympics.
Remember the scores of journalists, bloggers and human rights activist still being held by the Chinese authorites. Remember the workers and peasants who lost their homes, land and jobs. Remember the people of Tibet.
It would have been good if someone on the night mentioned them and given details of how to help campaign for their freedom.

Had faith in the cyclists mate, just lacked confidence in the couch potatoes that do the voting. Watched a re-run last night - its hard to take in really - for once I thought the cycling piece was great - riding together on those empty Peninne roads - good stuff. We better get practicing at riding down ramps though!
