Aha. You forget the brilliant Audi Ur Quattro. That was 5 cylinders and only 2.2L. I don't recall anyone thinking that was underpowered. Like Steve, a motoring ambition never fulfilled.

Seems like Audi's use Volvo engines now... or the other way around :p, I know this 2.5L TDi my dad had did and it was faaast.

If I could improve my cycling performance and if I where a car what it would be would have to be a Volvo T5 R as they go suuuuper fast, up their with the M3's and higher.

Anyway sorry its going off topic again, I think this thread was about training :)

I dug some of mine up last weekend...they were massive.

I hear the population of Andorra is 75,000 (according to the UN in 2007), and its major languages are Catalan, Spanish and French.

Finally got that load of white washing on, been bugging me for days. Didn't think of using parsnips though. Maybe next time?

When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown in to the sea.

Speaking of parsnips, did you know that Zohary and Hopf note that the archeological evidence for the cultivation of the parsnip is “still rather limited,” and that Greek and Roman literary sources are a major source about its early use, but warn "there are some difficulties in distinguishing between parsnip and carrot (which, in Roman times, were white or purple) in classical writings since both vegetables seem to have been sometimes called pastinaca yet each vegetable appears to be well under cultivation in Roman times.

Seems parsnips are good I might have to eat one might make me better and faster instantly.

Someone needs to get the thread back on topic or it might as well be called "the general chatter thread" which ain't a bad thing but I cant get it on topic.
