Sunday's Clubrun

Post by Rob »

As its my turn to lead on Sunday I thought I'd just post and give it some extra publicity.

Usual time, usual place (0900, The Square).
Ride around the northern part of the Wolds; out through Langton and N Grimston area, cafe stop in Great Driffield (the cafe is what puts the great into Great Driffield), back via Millington Pastures - ideal for dropping off the E Yorks contingent.
Mixed terrain, nothing too severe - ideal if you want to try out the fixed-wheel before the winter weather.
Its about 80miles Square to Square and I'll be keeping it piano. No heroics. Back mid afternoon.

See you in the Square

Good - should be there - it'll make a change not to get dropped.

Go on 'scuse my ignorance, I know it will be something obvious, but what's a piano ride?

Pedal In A Nice Order?
Pace Is A Nasty Ordeal?
Paul Intent. And Nonstop Osman?

I'd like to do this ride, sounds just right for me but things are a bit busy at the moment so it's unlikely :(

Steve,

It's coded rhymning slang.

They're off to see Juicy Joanna in Driffield but they know Cath and Claire might be reading.

'Cafe Stop' who are they kidding?

She wasn't on the agenda for Sunday, Paul, honest. But if you have her number, we'll try & fit her in?

piano: in the musical sense is to perform softly.

Pretentious, moi?
