After our discussion on a previous thread I would lead a ride to Spurn point. Suggest the 1st day of Autumn - 21st September. The ride would be done as a club - no one would be left behind (especially me  ) though anyone wanting to do it should already be happy with 60-70+ mile rides. It would be one or two cafe stops depending how people felt on the day. Can people post on the forum if they fancy doing this (could be done on a Saturday if most would rather do that). Otherwise if there's not much interest I shall probably do the ride on my own in winter to toughen me up a bit :) .

I looked on google maps, types in spurn point, came up somewhere near huddersfield, so its not very helpfull as I doubt that is where a club run would go lol, allthough it is quite hilly round there but full of motorways.

You have a rare talent with computers, Will - I typed "Spurn Point" into Google and came up with a load of stuff all about, and including wonderful aerial pics of, Spurn Point - just north of the Humber Estuary. It even has its own website. It really IS worth a look.

What would the Jordens Moss ride on 6th July involve? Where does it go, how far etc? I may come on that Sunday

Looking from at the map typing it in looks like it is like 10 miles from the yorkshire dales so could be very hilly and obviously 90+ miles I guess.
