Thursday 26th Time Trial

Another close finish and a win for Andy Johnson - who should have spent the evening riding the Otley town centre crit but never got there being delayed in traffic due to a crash on the A59.
Weather could best be described as moist. Well done to all who turned out.

Thanks to the organising team last night - definitely a night to be riding rather than helping.....

Good to see AJ taking his frustration out on the pedals.

Chris and Ian, 5th and 6th - wrong way around or typo on the time?

Quite enjoyed my first time as a Marshall even in the rain! Saying that I drove out to do it.

I did at least manage to lend an umbrella and coat to Michael who was Marshalling the right turn approaching Terrington. Even managed to help two damsels in distress who had been out jogging and had managed to beach their car at the car park at Coneysthorpe crossroads.

Like Eric Morecambe would say "I was playing all the right notes, just in the wrong order" or the result sheet reproduction equivalent of that. You should never comit this sort of info to the public domain at 00:30 in the morning imo. But congratulations to those of you paying attention!
