Training Ride Sunday anyone?

Post by Rob »

Anyone around in York over the weekend fancy a 3-4 hour bash on Sunday? 9am prompt start from the Square.

Correct. I assume the clubrun will be going out as usual from the same place at the same time. The clubrun is usually out for the day with, usually, a cafe stop. This training ride is planned at a higher intensity, with no stops - its preparation for racing.

Yea on training rides what speeds will you be going at constantly? 25mph? I would like to do a training ride sometime, not this sunday but some other time but over long distances best I can do is averaging near 19mph like yesterday with abit of hills for a small section, 62miles @ 18.7

I'll be there. Given my current lack of miles, realism dictates skipping the White Rose Classic. Head up to Pannel/Norword Edge way?

If you can't do the White Rose, I know their reserve list is also fully subscribed so you might just make someones day if you notify them.

My legs are still tender from Saturday otherwise I would have offered to take the entry from you.

No I'll be racing Rob & co round Brimham Rocks which I'm sure will be hard enough.
Good luck on Sunday Phil- you can win it instead!
