Thanks Ian - I'll also be hoping to get there early and start at 8am. Judging by 5 Dales pace the silver might be outside possibility for me IF I eat well and don't run out of gas again - at least we don't get to climb Park Rash this time. Having said this anyone wanting to get round in a good time is best advised not to ride round with me! At least the last few miles is fairly flat/downhill once we hit Burnsall......

I don't want to be the bringer of bad news but I'd suggest you keep a little bit in the tank for Langbar. Food wise I'm pretty sure there are feedstops at Grassington, Hawes and somewhere around Stainforth - the WRC web page has exact details.

Timewise I'm aiming to set off as early as I can, take it slowly and get to the end. Chances are if I'm away before 8am I'll be passed by assorted Cliftonites - words of encouragement, pushes etc all welcome.
