Will - if you get some rim tape (of whatever type) I'll show you how to fit it (and replace an inner tube) when you come round.

FWIW I use the Michelin plastic stuff that other people hate and have no problems with it.

Oh dear sorry :P

Anyway, today I got some of this plastic rim tape put in, campagnalo or something? thanks to nickskull :D, and also a new rear tyre that cost me 5 quid thanks to nick so am pretty happy, hopefully no more of those rim side punctures! :D

Arthur, I dont know if I need to come round I mean even the chain set is hardly wobbling now since it was tightened but if you could check my position on my bike as it may be slightly too small for me would be good and also my front derailleur seems to not be moving onto the bottom chainring at the moment so if you could show me how to configure the gears if possible?

Thanks.

"I cant text my phone screen is totalled"

Get Arthur to take a look at that while he's at it - he's clearly not doing his share of the nappy-changing :D

Arthur was a big help, got even better idea how to change the tyre and service the gears so its all good now and chain is clean and ready for tomorrow :D, just need to get my legs ready for tomorrow now :P
