Yep, like to register my thanks also to Steve and his merry gang.

Also to the Clubrun crew strategically positioned on the climb after Stillington - note that all of you will soon get to try this yourselves - the Thursday evening league starts on 22/5 and this course comes up on 12/6.

Great course this - would make a good Rudy Project.,...

Yes I would also like to thank Steve, all the marshalls and especially Helen for the tea & cakes afterwards. Its a pity the rest of the time trialling world chose not to enter. I always think the Whenby road is one of the most pleasant in the area - although best appreciated a few miles an hour slower.
Thanks also to Kevin and his entourage for encouragement when it was most needed. You'll remember me passing - I had me tongue hanging out!

I had a quick look at previous events we've done on this course in the competition section of the website. Scarily this is the fourth time I've done a "middle" 33 min ride (within 15 seconds of my time on Saturday) in about 6 rides since 2003. Even more scary is that the last time Rob rode this course was a winning ride in Jun 03 just before his 1st retirement when he won - beating me by 19 secs.
