Stage 1, York to Malham, via Fewston, Bolton Abbey and Litton Dale. Scenery just got better and better all the way. Highlight proably the descent into Malham as the light faded with the dry stone walls and Malham Cove almost glowing in the dusk.
Stage 2, Malham to Hawes, via Kings Dale, Dentdale and the Howgills. Some fantastic roads rarely travelled by the Clifton.
Stage 3, Hawes to York, via Coverham and Ripon.
Total of 360km and 5000m of climb over the 3 days. Thanks to Steen, AndyG and AndyJ for great company.
