Dreadful conditions on untreated rural roads

Dear All,

For info the untreated roads in the sticks, Yearsley & Howardians area, are absolutely lethal. We have had a couple of inches of snow which has become compacted and polished by heavy vehicles and skidding numpty motorists. Of course, our roads are not gritted so they are like skid pans. I suggest avoiding on any planned social rides. Turbo and walking boots for me and Suz for next couple of days.
