1. Pay £250 up front to the charity, 'Macmillan Nurses'. I entered this way the first time I did it and soon recouped the initial lump sum through the 'Just Giving' web site, raising, in total, over £600.
2. If you raise over £500 you get an automatic entry, which funded my second ride.
3. Marshal on the day. Which Suzie and I did in 2015, securing our tandem entry this year.
We are marshalling in 2017 to secure a place for 2018, BUT NOT ON THE TANDEM!! Been there done that and two tandem entries out of a field of 2100 kinds says it all.
It's as tough a day as you'll ever ride but there is nothing quite like it, ( in my humble opinion).
