I don't think we've ever completed the route through Fewston and down to Otley, so given the decent looking forecast, I thought it would be a scenic option. Still not sure about the return through Tadcaster (i.e. if the main bridge is open) but we have lots of options.

We can get over the river at Tadcaster on the footbridge just downstream of the damaged one.

It would be good to come back that way from otley even it does mean crossing the river via the footbridge at tadcaster. Not the usual way back. Of course its good for me also
