If you have done the Reliability, Thixendale Spiro or Scotton a chance to add to your points tally this Sunday if not then an opportunity to get off the mark. Bernard has now posted all events on the Challenge series section.

Sunday 9am Ex Sq we are setting off to ride up 10 banks of the Hambleton Hills. 2200m of climbing +/- 95ish miles. One cafe stop we can also call at a shop if required in the afternoon. Taking in some roads and climbs not usually done on social club rides. Not all in one day anyway.

If you want to use the event for training for something bigger and longer your very welcome. However the ride ambition is to have a good day out on our bikes not to get round as quick as possible and make the riders at the back suffer. We are doing this event a little later in the spring than other years so it should be a little easier. I would bring some extra food and check that those brakes and gears function.

Should have said in the first post don't bring your posh bikes or best wheels on Sunday as the first climb is well ...
You know the saying ''the road to hell is paved with good intentions'' you will get it after about 50yrds.

Your winter bike will do just fine.
