Sunday 13th - The Dirty Clubrun

Something a little different. I know many of you have an intolerance to tarmac alternatives, but I've long been of the opinion that "rough stuff" riding is great for improving those handling skills. 8)

So, I've planned a route that should be navigable on mtb, cross bike or road bike. If you're on mtb you'll need to pump your tyres up a bit and wait a little at the end of the bumpier stretches. If you're on a road bike, you might like to fit the widest tyres you've got and hold back a bit on the road sections.

The route I have in mind is mostly road out to Millington, then a variety of tracks, bridlepaths and lanes around the wolds, before a mostly road ride back. We'll stop for a coffee somewhere and I'll finesse the route as we go to get us home for about 4pm.

0900 start, one challenge point. Have been looking forward to this!
