Richard popped by The Square on Sunday morning to let us know. As it was mostly blokes at the time we failed to ask the traditional questions - name, weight etc , but we did ascertain that everyone was doing well (except Richard, obviously, who looked a bit in shock).
Thanks Rob. The stats are: Thomas George, 4kg (8lb 13oz in old money). Mother and child now at home doing fine. With two weeks off work I was hoping it maybe an opportunity to get in a good training block. Early indications suggest otherwise, but I am now able to change a nappy quicker than a flat. Hope to make the Tan Hill ride at the end of the month.
Excellent stuff, and congrats to both. I suspect many of us could make predictions about the likely impact of a newborn infant on a "good training block", but it's much more fun just standing back and watching...
