For any of those (like me) who are not brave enough for the Edinburgh to York ride, I'll be in The Square at 9am for a 4 or 5 hour chilled out ride, probably with a quick stop for coffee and cake along the way.
Not got a route in mind yet, but tempted by something like either Ripley, Ripon or Helmsley.

For anyone that would feel more reassured to know a route, plan is to head up the Helperby road, loop round through Ripon, Studley Royal and cafe at Ripley Castle around 2 hour 30 mins in, then back via Scotton, Arkendale, Great Ouseburn, Cattal, Tockwith.
