The constant comparison of doping control in cycling with other sports does not really wash. The thing is that road cycling is 80% physical ability and 15% luck, whereas most other sports (except maybe track and field and rowing) require

most sports don't
need to have a drugs policy like ours as, even if doping was widespread, its impact would be minimal.
