Lincoln Challenge Ride, 15th June

Post by Rob »

I'm marking your cards quite early for this one as I think it's going to be popular.

170ish miles, obviously a flattish ride, though I think we'll find the terrain rolls enough to be interesting... Efficient group riding will be the order of the day. I have a mental picture of cappuccinos in a street café by the cathedral.... but we'll see what we find. Indeed, it could become a "one café strategy" with corner shop somewhere on the way out and back. So come with pockets well stocked.

0800 start. Probably back in York at 2000 (plus/minus)

See you on Sunday.

Tentatively holding my hand up for this - it's 20+ miles more than I've managed before but what the heck, nothing ventured.....
Mind you, I may recant if the weather forecast is grim :D
Keep pedalling!

Just bumping this back to the top.
The weather forecast looks good.... and it should be possible to get 6 hours sleep after the footie.
