Farlington Bridge Closure - Impact on Brandsby/Whenby SPOCO
I went over the Bridge at Farlington yesterday - there is a sign up saying it will be closed on 27/5 for around 7 weeks. If this is the case suspect it might impact the Brandsby/Whenby SPOCO. Happy to take another look to check exact dates etc...

Any further info would be useful please - could potentially clash with the club RR day on the Sheriff / Stillington circuit too!

I went past this morning. The notice says " Advance Notice. Road Closed 27/05/2014 for 8 weeks for Bridge Works. Contact 08458727374" I am travelling today but could follow up tomorrow if you want - or might be better for organiser to contact? Just let me know if you would like me to phone them.

Hi,
I live in this area so contacted the number on the yellow road closure sign, the number belongs to North Yorkshire Council who confirmed that the Farlington Bridge is now closed and will be for up to 8 weeks. It is a full road closure at the bridge due to support being added to it.
This causes a problem for the Brandsby-Whenby SPOCO this Thursday. I can drive by also and just reconfirm what the lady told me ont he phone but just thought it best to make the relevant contact as no update had been made on the post.
Thanks
Sam
