I got back from the training ride to find a tablet of stone leaning against my gatepost:-

"K-Ride cancelled today - but on tomorrow (Sunday 16th)

Just to make members aware that due to the weather today the K-Ride has been re-routed to 10:00 Sunday 16th. Route to Helmsley as per weekly update. Weather forecast:- bright, calmer, may be slight frost - seven degrees.

Hi there,
I'm new to the club- I'm a member of UYCC and I've been to a few of the chaingangs at the track. Would I be welcome on the K ride tomorrow? How many miles will it be? I'm used to doing long club rides between 50-80 miles at 14-16mph but with the weather being so bad recently, I'm a little bit out of practice

You'll be absolutely fine.

I'm not sure of the distance, would estimate around 60 miles or so.
Ask for Kev in the square and he will look after you.
