Anyway, where was I?

We've decided our YHA card is collecting far too much dust of late so we're off for a little road trip. And since it's the year of Le Tour what better way than to take in some of the route.

It would be pretty tedious just following the route on the A roads all weekend so I thought we could do some of Stage 1 and take in the 3 main summits, stopping a Grinton Lodge YH for the night.

Rough plan at present is for the weekend of 22/23 Mar with fast and slow groups as numbers dictate. Choice of pub meal or DIY in the evening and back on York in time for Songs of Praise.

Numbers will be limited only by what beds are available and sensible sized riding groups. Who's interested?
