i just rolled in with the front group as i was bludgin a bit on the first lap so did the right thing and didnt sprint.

I got 7th, having done part of the sprint to the left of the rumble-strip road edging and to the alarm of the officials. It was bloody dark on the ride home, but at least that wind was behind me. Marshalling at the next one; will see you there if not before.

I'm afraid I didn't ask. I doubt it, as they were very insistant about the requirement to marshall one of the four races, so I'd guess you'd need to enter the whole series. But may be worth giving the organiser a ring; entry fees are entry fees after all. get an entry in for the next series in good time tho!
