I have a quick question, for the first two weeks of August I am back in York and was wondering if it would be ok to join one or two of the CCC rides?
I have never ridden with a club before so it would be a new experiance for me. I was thinking of a Sunday ride and/or a Saturday 8:45 if i'm feeling like I have any legs (i'm hoping to have a ride from York to Brid and a ride from York to Rosedale Chimney and back over the two weeks too).

The best place for anyone new to the club is the K ride. They start at Exhibition Square at 10am Saturday, they ride at maybe 15mph and at this time of year, they'll probably do 70 miles with a cafe stop. Turn up at the square at 10 and ask for Kevin: this will make sure you you don't get mixed up in the A group who start at the same time: they go faster and also further! Kevin's very helpful and if you'd like to try something different in your second week, he'll advise you where you'd fit in.
