I'm combining a Cheshire sportive on Sunday and seeing the in-laws this weekend so can't lead Saturday's ride.
Please can someone volunteer? Have fun!

This Saturday the Tour de France hits the mountains for the first time.
So how about riding this hilly route to copy the pros and be back home to watch the GC contenders battle it out on a mountain top finish?

The hills are felt the most(!) by taking the route outward via Leavening, descending Settrington Bank and past Kirkham Abbey and Westow back to York.

52 miles. See you there.
On the issue of the group's speed and sometimes going too fast, haven't we all found that the strongest social riders are those who not only pull on the front but they also look after the group, because they have energy to spare for the greater good?
