Saturday 1st June - 845 ride

Post by Allan »

Was thinking something along the lines of York-Tollerton-Helperby-Easingwold - Hovingham - Sherrif - you know the rest....
Will post a map when I find Karl's post describing how to do it :D

I am going to brother-in-laws tomorrow near Stokesley so I plan to leave the 8:45am ride at Terrington and head north. Having never been up Rosedale Chimney, I thought I would give it a go ().

If anyone fancies joining me, that would be great. I plan to have a quick stop at the shop in Terrington for coke/food and then have a longer stop at Hutton-Le-Hole at cafe. That would be the obvious place for anyone joining me to head back to York. Anyway, just putting it out there. Looks like its going to be very nice weather to be out on the bike!

This is my route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2587499

what a good ride.seemed to struggle a bit in places today.(maybe a bit too much sprint sessions yesterday).nice evenly paced ride and stuck together quite well.steady ride to the square from home.peeled off at terrington bank and drafted reuben into terrington to save his legs ready for his 1st attempt at rosedale chimney. 73 miles on the clock door to door.so yet another good outing. :)
