Five of us set off for Masham. Chris, John, Dave, Steen and myself headed out via Tollerton, Helperby, Melmerby before arriving at the cafe in the square at Masham just before the lunchtime rush. Some ate little, which was very impressive. Mistakenly I ordered omelette with chips, and despite the offer to help yourself no one did. Strange that!
The ride home was helped by a northerly wind that hindered progress on the way out but helped maintain a cracking pace all the way back to York.
Thanks for a great ride, and we managed to survive a squadron of bike hating ducks and the "blue van women driver"!!!
