ROAD BIKE MECHANIC RECOMMENDATION?

Shift that old kit, or those un-wanted presents, or see if anyone else has something you're looking for.

ROAD BIKE MECHANIC RECOMMENDATION?

Post by liam552 »

I am new to the area and i am after someone to do a mini project on my two bikes.
I ride a trek madone 5.2 and have just purchased a 5.9 frame with some questional components on it.
I am after someone who could do a bit of swaping around of bits to make one good bike for the summer and racing and one for normal training (saturday rides etc in the winter).
I appreciate i will have to spend abit of money but would like to have someone who is willing to advise me and use second hand parts etc, and i don't really want to pay full shop prices.

Any assistance or advice is much appreciated.

Buy Leonard Zinn's road bike maintenance book and do it yourself. It's not difficult, you'll save money and have a much better understand of how your bikes work. Also a sense of satisfaction and skills you can call on whenever you need them.
