Do both rides start from the shop? Thursday used to start from Stockton Lane, Pete's bench a few years ago?

Both from the shop now, well they were last year. The tuesday night seems to be quite steady, but the thursday stretches the chain a bit. I've heard people say tuesday is harder, but I've always found it to be the other way round.

To be 100% accurate its VC York & Cycleworks chain gang. But be assured we want all to attend and make it a York chain gang.

Crash on the VC gang last night. Chris touched a wheel and hit the ground quite hard, he was ok, just got back up and carried on riding through! I think the bike suffered a little damage. I'd have stuck my arm out and taken a broken collarbone before scratching a super record lever.

The line-out seemed to take a while to settle down last night, don't know why, maybe it threw everyone starting so early.

I'm always tempted to put the fast wheels in for that gang, but if I turned up on carbon wheels and Sharpie rode me off his wheel on that cross bike I'd have to pack it in.

Yep a guy unfortunately switched me took my front wheel away, impossible to avoid. Early through and off was supposed to help teach the craft, that said if there has to be crash better it's someone like me than a newer rider.
Glad I was on my training bike though ! Damage not to bad, lots of new team kit in the bin though.

Occupational hazard I suppose. Moving on....
