Just 5 in The Square for the Sunday ride. TimR, Mark, Ian and Stien. Most benign riding conditions for a while, bit of a slither down into Amotherby, but otherwise the roads were pretty good and thawing nicely. That said, your muscles don't work as well in the cold and we were all flagging a bit by Surprise view. So we we cut out the Cockayne Loop (or Cocaine Loop as Tim called it, what have they been teaching you at those training talks?) and cut across to Helmesley. Classic route back through Ampleforth and Yearsley. Good day out, thanks chaps.

I was hoping to join you on the Sunday Club Run however I p******ed Twce on my way to York and decided to turn back as I had no more tubes
and I wouldnt have made it in time anyway. I had to console myself with a 3hr ride around some local lanes. At least the snow was melting and had no issues with ice
It actually fellt quite warm with no wind. Will try again next week unless another ice age starts
