Cripes, that was hard

Post by G. »

FAO: Mr Jon Cocker
This P-B-P thing is an evil piece of twisted masochism, the product of a sick and twisted mind! Which gullible clubmate shall we con into riding it next time?

I finished in 72:43, just outside 3 days but well within time. 2 days later i'm sitting in a paris cafe, gulping coffee and discovering body parts that i thought had dropped off. Never have i looked forward more eagerly to hillclimbs that only last 7 minutes.

Well done Greg, sounds like it was an epic ride. I think for me personally the Ullswater ride was far enough, doing that 3 times in a row and more is a bit too much. :) But as long as you enjoyed it that's the main thing.

Ah Jon, with your fine performance round Ullswater you would be a fine candidate for persuasion to do this next time. As for 'enjoy', I will let you know about enjoyment once I have stopped taking the cocodomol

Well done Greg, What an achievement after all the distance rides you have put in this year in your build up to the event, you've done it and nobody can ever take that away from you.
