Yes 8.00am sharp at the square. Advisable to bring some basic lights as it may be getting dark by the time we hit York and some food in your pockets as Hull tends to shut down on a Sunday evening. There are short sections of rough track so leave your expensive tubulars at home.
Route is mainly flat but 160miles and it looks like we're going to have a headwind on the way back - so you're going to need to be the sort who is comfortable with long rides.
Route is Stockton Ln, Upper Helmsley, Stamford Bridge, Fangfoss, Yapham, Millington, Huggate, Tibthorpe, Southburn, Hutton, Rotsea, Burshill, Leven, Catwick, Rise, Burton Constable, Humbleton, Burton Pidsea, Roos, Withernsea (cafe stop), Holmpton, Eastington, Spurn Point...(get breath back)....Welwick, Patrington, Sunk Island, Paull, Saltend, alongside the Humber (stop for coffee, if we can find something open), Hessle, North Ferriby, Elloughton, North Cave, North Cliffe, Everingham, Melbourne, Elvington & York.
I don't have a map I can post I'm afraid, the route is stored somewhere in the dusty confused corridors of my brain (I'll be looking for it over the next day or two), so it's a good job we'll have Rob with us to sort us out when we get lost.
It's quite an epic in it's own way this ride - see you Sunday mighty Clifton.
