Wednesday Evening Club MTB Ride on the 11th May

Post by Big Bear »

Lets make the most of the great weather (fingers crossed) and try another moors ride. This time meet in the car park of 'The Inn' in Hawnby (YO62 5QS) near Helmsley at 6.45 for 7.00pm.

Weds 11th MTB Ride

Post by Big Bear »

For info, Hawnby is above Hemsley near Old Byland & Rievalux. Coming from the west it is 10mins from the top of Sutton Bank and 10 mins from Helmsley coming from the east.

The ride is a lovely 13 miler out and back across the moor. Any questions - just post.

Regards
David

Hi, The Hawnby route is similar to Dalby Red route in toughness and techy stuff. If you can do 15 miles of Dalby Red ok then you will be fine. Hope this helps? David

First ride

Hi,

Could I join you guys on the ride as I am thinking about joining the club?

Also, does the club do car shares, to help save petrol? I have a car this time, but I don't always have it.

Thanks

Chris

Chris, you may come along and try a ride before you join. People do share lifts, you can post on the forum to arrange, or you can arrange lifts amongst yourselves once you've got to know a few people :)
