Firstly, please can we have some volunteers to marshal the first couple of events. We need to ensure these events are run safely and if we don't have adequate marshals by a couple of days prior to events we will cancel them. This may sound harsh and I know when this has been necessary in the past we've had riders saying "Oh well, I'd have helped if I knew it was that desperate..." but, come on folks, we can't run a series like that. Secondly, if you're planning on riding the events, remember that they are open only to current Clifton members and you will need to show your 2011 membership card at signing-on. You will be able to join the club or renew on the night but please bear in mind the organiser has more than enough to do on the night already without processing membership applications, and that if there's a queue of forty riders, you may find yourself and your uncompleted application sent to the back of it...
